The McClary Family

The 7M brand was established in about 1995 after the birth of Chase (#7 child) so from then on we used 7M for our brand, our horse sales and  the team roping events we used to put on throughout BC.

 Charlie, Jan, Sarah, Ben, Katie and Chase are living on the ranch and  Michael, Lucas and Ryan are pursing life in the fast lane down on the coast in the Fraser Valley.

Charlie works double duty selling Real Estate with Remax Bulkey Valley and ranching here,  with Jan and the kids doing the ranch fulltime.

We have a PB Gelbvieh cow herd of about 120 head plus a small commercial herd.  In the winter we will background  about 250 calves for the spring grass.  Our calving season starts the second week of January and the grass starts coming up in the end of April. 

The horse herd has changed a bit since coming up to Smithers,  but  basically our requirements are the same, pretty horses that will work willingly all day, the kind you can trust with your kids and if you find the time and desire to go to the show ring will put you in the ribbons.
